Quite an honour, especially as this is a new award and I’m the first recipient.
The President, Peter Levesque (@Peter Levesque) presented the award to recognise an ‘extraordinary contribution to the field’ during the opening session at the Forum, citing my work to develop and deliver the sister event, the UK Knowledge Mobilisation Forum, and also for ‘Knowledge Mobilisation: The Musical’ which is a series of songs illustrated with interview quotes and cartoons based on my recent research work about knowledge transfer in a foundation hospital.
Credit and thanks of course go to all the other people involved in the Forum and the Musical: Derek Bell (NIHR CLAHRC NWL), David Phipps (ResearchImpact), Ruth Boaden (NIHR CLAHRC GM), Tabitha McGowan (Writer in Residence UKKMbF15 & PidWigeon), Kevin Wilkins (PidWigeon), Ella Hunton (PidWigeon), Roxanne Persaud (Independent), Ann Wales (NHS Education for Scotland), Karen Ritchie (Healthcare Improvement Scotland), Alison Bullock (CUREmED), Alison Winning (Healthcare Improvement Scotland), Mike McLean (The Improvement Service), Anita Kerwin-Nye (London Leadership Strategy), Peter Levesque himself (Knowledge Mobilization Works), Claire Lightowler (Centre for Youth and Criminal Justice), Charlotte Morris (Centre for Youth and Criminal Justice), Vivien Moffat (IRISS), Sarah Morton (CFRF), Shona Cowan (Scottish Government) and many more…
Dr David Phipps of ResearchImpact was also presented with an award for Leadership in the field of knowledge mobilisation. Congratulations @mobilemobilizer !
