Award for Innovation

I was delighted (and rather humbled) to be awarded the Institute for Knowledge Mobilization President’s Award for Innovation at the Canadian Knowledge Mobilization Forum 2015 in Montreal last week.

Quite an honour, especially as this is a new award and I’m the first recipient.

The President, Peter Levesque (@Peter Levesque) presented the award to recognise an ‘extraordinary contribution to the field’ during the opening session at the Forum, citing my work to develop and deliver the sister event, the UK Knowledge Mobilisation Forum, and also for ‘Knowledge Mobilisation: The Musical’ which is a series of songs illustrated with interview quotes and cartoons based on my recent research work about knowledge transfer in a foundation hospital.
